2015 WEST LIBERTY CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL

Saturday Sept. 19th, 10AM – 3PM
The 19th Annual West Liberty Children’s Festival will take place Saturday, September 19, from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M in downtown West Liberty on Third St, with a schedule chock full of performances, crafts and activities! ┬áThe Schedule of events is as follows:

SCHEDULE:
10:00: EULENSPIEGEL PUPPETS: Little Red Riding Hood
10:55: URBAN PRAIRIE PUPPETS (from Nebraska): Native American Tale
11:45: NICOLE ROCK’S SCHOOL OF DANCE (street)
12:00: CORCORAN PUPPETS (from Wisconsin): King of the Golden River
12:45: DEAN OF JUGGLING: Juggling Show (street)
1:00: SEABEAST PUPPETS (from Illinois): Of Mice and Mayors: The Cottager and His Cat & Stone Soup
1:45: KALIMBAMAN AND THE FABULOUS YAHOO DRUMMERS (street)
2:15: PARASON PUPPETS (from Missouri): George and the Dragon
3:00: CHILDREN’S PARADE!


OTHER EVENTS:
10:00 – 12:00: Mini Tractor Pull (corner of Spencer and 3rd)
12:00 – 3:00: Firetruck and Smoke House (corner of Spencer and 3rd)


ALL DAY ACTIVITIES:
Sandbox, Painting Easels, Puppet Making, Face Painting, Crafts, Food and MORE!
Strolling performers: Mrs. Hinky Dink, Kalimbaman and the Fabulous Yahoo Drummers, Dean of Juggling, Lisa Laird (ventriloquist) and Angela Polowy (puppeteer).


Leading up to this year’s festival, Eulenspiegel and Friends will present a “Puppet Slam” at Local Grounds Coffee Shop and Wine Bar on Friday evening, Sept. 18th at 8:00 P.M. Watch short experimental and sometimes outrageous puppet vignettes that are geared towards teenagers and adults! Guest puppeteers and West Liberty residents will share the stage! Tickets are free, but we encourage donations, which will be divided among the performers.
